Landmark Capital Advisors Welcomes Tom Farrell as Director of Business Development

Continuing to build on its success in finance and private equity working with owners, investors, commercial developers, home builders and residential land developers, Landmark Capital Advisors, a real estate capital advisory firm with offices in Newport Beach and the San Francisco Bay Area, has added industry veteran and real estate finance expert Tom Farrell as Director of Business Development in the Newport Beach office.

Tom will leverage his vast commercial and residential real estate finance experience forging new relationships with both sponsors and providers of debt and equity to enhance the platform’s growth.  He brings more than 30 years of real estate finance experience across most geographies and layers of the capital stack. Prior to joining Landmark Capital Advisors, he worked for Bellstone Partners, a boutique investment-banking firm that sources debt and equity developers and home builders, primarily in California. Prior to Bellstone, Tom headed up the Home Builder Finance practice at Sabal Fianancial Group, providing non-recourse A&D loans to home builders across the nation. Before Sabal, Tom was at Bank of America for 25 years in a number of positions of increasing responsibility in the Commercial Real Estate Bank. His last position at Bank of America was Division Executive in charge of the Home Builder Division, which was the largest provider of financing to homebuilders nationally with over $13 billion in commitments.

Landmark Capital Advisors was founded in 2011 by Steve Sims and Adam Deermount to provide debt and equity capital advisory services to residential developers, investors, and homebuilders. The company has closed more than $200 million dollars in transactions since inception and has recently expanded its advisory services to the commercial sector.
